Hey Guys, I have just installed UmbrelOS on my x86 machine. Everything is running fine so far looking from the surface level. But when I check the logs, then the following entry gets reported every second or so:
Dec 29 17:21:37 umbrel kernel: pcieport 0000:00:06.0: AER: Correctable error message received from 0000:01:00.0
Dec 29 17:21:37 umbrel kernel: nvme 0000:01:00.0: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Correctable, type=Physical Layer, (Receiver ID)
Dec 29 17:21:37 umbrel kernel: nvme 0000:01:00.0: device [144d:a80a] error status/mask=00000001/0000e000
Dec 29 17:21:37 umbrel kernel: nvme 0000:01:00.0: [ 0] RxErr (First)
The NVME disk is working fine as I am currently syncing data to serve a bitcoin node. Also the web interface and everything is working fine. After a little research I stumbled upon a possible issue using ASPM (Active-State Power Management). I have deactivated all related options in my BIOS already, but get the same log entries. Also disabling ASPM directly in linux does not seem to be possible (changing /sys/module/pcie_aspm/parameters/policy → Operation not permitted). Is there maybe a solution to that issue, or can I ignore it?
