Rpi 5 - 8GB RAM running all time at 85%

Hi All,

I am concerned that lately, I have my Raspberry Pi 5 with 8GB Ram running at 85% all the time.

I don’t think I have much apps installed, mainly focused on Bitcoin environment:

• Bitcoin Node
• Electrs
• Mempool
• Public Pool
• Robosats
• Tailscale

Is there something I could do to lower the ram usage? I am concerned that the apps will not be running appropiately due to this issue.

I am not sure if I should switch to a 16GB Raspberry Pi 4 or any other solution were I could still use my current SSD in which I have umbrel OS installed.

Tbh you have quite a lot running on just a RPi. I had the similar issue, either remove stuff I’m not really using or upgrade to a Nuc. I upgraded to a Nuc.

I have decided to delete mempool, and now running around 5,5 to 6gb RAM usage.

Concerned if in short future go for Rpi 5 of 16GB RAM, what would be a NUC solution with good ratio performance and price to compare?
