Just a little heads up (in case someone else runs into this)
After migrating my umbrel to a proxmox VM, i had severe problems with my lightning node where peer connections would constantly time out and get re-established, preventing any routing and causing some force closes.
Turns out my wireguard tunnel to my VPS was the issue.
Reducing MTU from the default 1500 to 1380 on the node interface and 1420 on the server fixed it.
