Pairing with bluewallet got "Invalid LNDHub URI"

I installed LND and LNDHub. LND is all sync’ed up fine.

Below are the steps I tried to pair with bluewallet app

  • In Umbrel, click on “BlueWallet Lightning” app and got both QR code and an node URI on the right panel, which btw are not same.
  • then I started my mobile bluewallet app, go to Settings/Network/Lightning Settings
  • I clicked on “scan or import a file” to scan QR code.
  • it reports the error

I tried to enter the node URI and also got the same error. I tried various tweaks (adding port number for example). I always got the “Invalid LNDHub URI” error.

Any pointers?

Hi @diamond_wolf

Instead of using the URL from the QR code ie xxxxyyyyyzzzz.onion, please try http://umbrel.local:3008 or http://umbrel:3008 (you will need to be on the same local network as your Umbrel device)

Hi
I am also getting this error, and can’t seem to get it to work
Any way to get it working without Tor? or at least on the same network?

I tried with the IP instead of the internal domain name and it allowed me to save the changes.
Seems that way it works
