I’m having an issue with the native Specter Desktop application.
After the node was unplugged (forgot to shut it down first), Specter starts with the installation wizard again. The previously setup (device, wallet, TOR,…) is gone.
At the Tor daemon setup step, Specter gives the following message:
ERROR in tor_setup_tasks: Failed to install Tor. Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: ‘/usr/local/lib/python3.8/site-packages/cryptoadvance/specter/util/…/…/…/…/pyinstaller/torbrowser/tor-browser-linux64-10.0.15_en-US.tar.xz’
On the dashboard TOR status shows as running and Samourai Wallet connects to the Samourai Server. Data connection, Tor Routing and Dojo Full Node are all green in the Network panel.
I uninstall and reinstall Specter, but the issue with installing TOR persists.
Umbrel runs on the recommended hardware as listed on the website (Rasperry Pi 4B, 1 TB SSD,…) and has been updated to the latest version (0.3.10).
How may I solve this issue?
