My Umbrel mempool currently has 5599 unconfirmed transactions, but Mempool.space has 77275 unconfirmed transactions.
My node has been 100% synched for several weeks and is connected to 33 peers.
Can anyone advise why my node has so few unconfirmed transactions?

You may need to increase your maxmempool in bitcoin.conf
Thanks for this suggestion. My maximum mempool size is set at the default of 300mb.
Right now it’s only using 4.58mb out of the 300mb.
In that case the number of transactions present in your mempool is limited by the filters your node enforce and how many peers it has.
All my node (Knots) settings are at the defaults. At block height 910748 my mempool is 14.6 Mb.
Tbh I don’t see any problem with your setup. It’s absurd to compare your personal node with mempool.space which is a business at the end of the day.

Yes, my volume of unconfirmed transactions seems quite average now that I have another node to compare to.
I’m now happy that my node is working as it should and the differences between Mempools are a result of the choices we make regarding Knots or Core and policy settings.
