Umbrel mempool shows different network status

Hi,

My Umbrel mempool now shows only about 164k unconfirmed transactions.

While mempool.space shows about 400k unconfirmed transactions.

I am wondering why is the difference and how can I fix it?

It’s noting to worry about. The standard mempool size is limited to 300MB. So your node purges low fee transactions if the mempool is overflowing.

You can change this if you like, but have in mind that this will allocate more RAM on your machine.

Bit the chain being clogged with monkey jpgs and brc-20 transactions the RPi settings aren’t holding up to well. The mempool app is getting far behind. Is there a way at least with the 8gb raspberry pi to increase the memory allocation from 300mb to at least a gb. thank
