Unable to run a software raid

I’ve been building a new node but I’m looking to get a bit more redundancy this time around.

So I’m using mdadm to create a software raid and have been able to make sure it’s mounted on boot and it seems to work flawlessly.

However, umbrel complains about the multiple drives connected

Error: Multiple external drives found

Is there a way around this? Or should I wipe my raspberry, install raspbian and install umbrel manually?

For a raid configuration I suggest to use a barebone/NUC that the board have built-in capabilities to create a RAID with internal drives, not external USB.
Also a barebone/NUC will be much stable and reliable than a Pi.
Install a Debian OS then, Umbrel (see instructions on Umbrel github) with docker containers.
