Hi! I flashed umbrelOS on a NVMe and put it in my RaspberryPi 5, which is inside an ironmate case. Everything booted just nicely and I was enable to launc it in a browser from another PC. I then wanted to install the drivers for Pironmans fans and tried ssh in - access denied, wrong password. Thought that was strangte and rebooted my PC. Tryed to log in to the OS, and it says wrong password there as well. I reflashed and booted again, all fine. Note: I wrote down the password just in case. Logged in via browser - all is fine. Tested a few things and turned off my computer. When I now try to log in on the OS I again get wrong password, even though I know it is the right one. Is there a issue with it running on NVMe?
When you are ssh’ing in … are you using the right user id?
ssh umbrel@{your-ip-address}
Hi Rod,
Yes I am. That being said, how can my password to login to the OS be faulty when going to the IP-adr in a browser - I cannot change the user, so that is already set, and as I said, I jotted down the password.
So you are saying you can still login to Umbrel via the WebUI with the password that you set and that same password does not work when you use it to ssh in with:
ssh umbrel@{ip-address}
Can the Web UI access:
http://{ip-address}/settings/troubleshoot/umbrelos/umbrelos
To open the Terminal Window?
