Ubuntu 23 avoid errors while installing Umbrel OS

Yo,

my raspi passed away after 3 years, so I bought Intel NUC, something stronger this time. I installed Ubuntu 23 and run into few errors while installing Umbrel OS.

How to avoid them:

  1. upgrade distro:

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

  • yes, even if you just updated software right after clean install, it sill upgrades quiet few programs
  1. install docker compose, docker should be already there

sudo apt-get install docker-compose

  1. now run the command of all commands:

curl -L https://umbrel.sh | bash -s – --no-install-docker --no-install-compose

  • without docker and docker-decompose! script was screaming at me some errors, without them worked smoothly
