You may want to use the Umbrel rewind function, if enabled, to quickly fix the issue. Beyond that I’m honestly not sure what would cause this. Possible the updated wipe the config? You could try checking the Thunderhub github/documentation to see if they provide information for resetting the password.
Unfortunately the rewind function is not activated. my server runs under a raspi 4 - 8GB
I was reading a thread “https://community.umbrel.com/t/changing-passwords/858” where I think there may be information to change/restore the password.
However, I will look at the ThunderHub github, following your recommendation.
I will publish in this thread the satisfactory solution (if I find it)

After several tests and experiments… the solution… uninstall Thunderhub and reinstall it, everything is back to normal.
