I have the same problem, has to be a bug.
I got the same - as long as it’s not an exploit!
yep… I replaced my SD card also and the pop up returned. Im going with its a bug.
I’m in the same boat.
same here, would like to know how to run this test and confirm my SD card is good. Hopefully they find and fix the bug, but to be safe would like to know what this is testing to determine this.
@dlevens I agree that it would be nice to know what kinds of tests are being used to determine that it is time to replace the micro sd card. Can umbrel os devs clarify this? A little bit of explanation regarding what triggers this “replace micro sd card” warning would be helpful to understand.
So here is the code that determines the SD health: https://github.com/getumbrel/umbrel/blob/master/scripts/status/sd-card-health
it looks like it’s done based on speed…? So my guess would be that some SD cards are not up to the read and write standards, but i could be wrong
What are the minimum read/write requirements for the SD card?
Has Umbrel acknowledged this is a bug? Or is this a new feature (to check SD card health) that came out in 0.5.2 and some of us really need to replace our SD card?
Here is the popup for those who have not seen it yet
I ran the SD card health via SSH and it comes back false, so this has to be a bug in the GUI. If it found any issues or did not pass one of the tests it should return true, but mine returns false.
umbrel@umbrel:~/umbrel/scripts/status $ ./sd-card-health
false
I created an issue to track this
Just updated. Got the same message.
Wish I would have read this thread before buying a new micro SD and replacing in. I get the same popup still as well. Oh well.
Same problem here!
Hey Umbrel any comment?!
Got the same message so I bought a new SD card and I still have the pop up. Any word on fix ?
Have you solved your issue mate?
I read in another forum it’s a bug and the guys at Umbrel are working on it.
Does ledger support now support Umbrel on a Raspberry Pi?
No, looks like a scammer
Looks like a D-Bag.
