Please Help- Umbrel latest version refuse to install and work

The update did not work. (Rasberry Pi4 + SSD 1Tb … macbook pro)

So I started everything from scratch :

  1. erased and formated the SSD

  2. formated the miroSD card Fat32 and flashed UmbrelOS on it with BalenaEtcher

  3. Insert the flashed micro‑SD into the Raspberry Pi 4, attach the SSD (via a USB‑3.0 port), powered it on,

  4. waited 5 min for the green light blinking to stop, then connected to umbrel.loccal

it ask to create my username and password,

I then get to the main Desktop picture with an empty screen (no dashboard)

Did you format the external SSD in mac format? It takes a long time for the Umbrel to come up for the first time, and it needs to be connected to the internet.

no, formated in FAT32 … The problem is that it does not install the OS properly ==> main Desktop picture with an empty screen (no dashboard)
