Hello all! I am hoping someone much more tech savvy than myself can help me and my family with a particular issue. I purchased the Umbrel Home exclusively for supporting the Bitcoin community and (according to Fin the Umbrel AI) enable my family outside of my network to simply be able to point their miners to my node and start mining. I realize that the rewards would not be split should a block be minded.
The issue is that it’s not as simple as Fin said it would be. We are all running Avalon 3S miners. We were able to get external miners (that are not in my local network) onto my node using TailScale but my family outside my local network need to keep their computers running. Is there a solution whereas external miners can mine my node without having to use a CPU or other hardware? Simply put, the best solution for us is to simply point the miners to my node. We would be grateful for any tips, trick and/or solutions. I am running Bitcoin Core and Public Pool.
