Mining with Public Pool App on Umbrel Home – External Access

Hi everyone,

I’m running an Umbrel Home and have installed the Public Pool app for mining. I’m wondering if it’s possible to mine from outside my own network.

Specifically, I’d like to know:

  1. Which ports need to be open to access the mining functionality from outside my network?

  2. Does mining work reliably when done from outside the home network?

Has anyone used Cloudflare or Tailscale for this purpose? Does mining work through them, and are there any particular considerations?
