Hello everyone,
I have just recently set up an Umbrel node and the experience has been great so far! However, I’ve been having an issue with the node syncing slower than I thought it would be. I am syncing bitcoin and lightning network, but it seems to hang up at certain points, especially during block sync.
I’ve gone through some of the regular checks like internet speed, firewall, and making sure I’m running the up to date version of Umbrel, but nothing has fixed it. Also, I’m using a 1TB external hard drive, which is well below spec, so I’m not sure what the hang up is.

Has anyone come across similar sync issues or any possible suggestions for what I may be missing? I’ve seen some suggestions of tweaking sync settings or changing to a faster hard drive, but I wanted to reach out to the community in case you have any tried-and-true options.
