The Core Lightning app makes it stupid easy to stand up a node and open a channel. However there is no way I can see to use Commando to generate a rune – to sync with Alby, for instance, as Alby uses a commando rune instead of the macaroon that the Umbrel Core Lightning app provides.
I know that normally this would just take a lightning-cli commando-rune invocation but I’ve run in to a wall with that. Once I found lightning-cli in /umbrel/app-data/core-lightning/lightningd/bitcoin, it’s giving me a “command not found” error anyway.
If the rune was included in the Connect Wallet screen in the Core Lightning app, this would be stupid easy like everything else Umbrel does.
