Cleaning up Umbrel for files for Bitcoin Node crashes

How do I do a cleanup like delete files to make Bitcoin node run at least temporily until I implement a long term fix? I found out whats the problem with Bitcoin Node crashing. Lack of Disk space. Its a 1 TB SSD. It was only running Bitcoin Node and BCH Node.

Now, my question is I have 2 options which is buy a bigger SSD and start all over again like install Umbrel/Bitcoin Node/ BCH Node etc (or is there a better way instead of reinstalling everything on a 2TB SSD?) OR, it has a second slot for SSD, if I add another SSD, how do I make Umbrel recognize or use the second disk for additional storage? THANKS

The least technical approach is to get a 2TB SSD and start from the begging.

Adding a separate SSD, could be a short-term solution, but the Bitcoin Blockchain size will keep growing and eventually 1TB will not be enough.

Theoretically you can “clone” the 1TB SSD to the new 2TB, but that can become way too complicated and technical.

I ended up finding a 2 TB SSD on eBay.

Thanks for your help and advice.

I’m no expert but you could try pruning the node. It’s in the node or Umbrel settings. But if it were me I would just buy a 2TB HD. Start over and use the 1tb for something else. Good luck!
