Tried. Still stuck on “Starting” perpetually. Non-technical and about an hour and a half into trying to solve this. About to give up and just wipe the thing
Did you follow these steps exactly?
BTW, sometimes you may just need to wait an hour or more for things to return to normal. There are background syncing operations happening that the GUI doesn’t show you but are still visible in the logs.

BTC was working well but now cannot even open the Umbrel app. Cannot synch!

I tried this. so far after 20 min or so no luck yet. will come check later.
Updating bitcoin core, and trying the above of deleting the files seem to have worked. I am not sure if it was updating bitcoin core or deleting the files but now it works!

Same issue here.
Tried this solution but:
When I remove said files after 5 seconds the files are back. Is this normal?
removing the files and rebooting dit not solve the issue for me.
Hi, I have just updated to 1.0.4 using my Mac and everything is working fine apart from Bitcoin node and Electrs.
I have tried to follow the instructions to fix the issue but fall at the first hurdle. When I type in ssh umbrel@umbrel.local I get
The authenticity of host ‘umbrel.local (192.168.40.129)’ can’t be established.
I would be grateful for any help please?
Is there a way to delete the Bitcoin Node app?
I have little technical knowledge, would it be quicker just to delete the Rasberry Pi’s hard drive and start again?
