Bisq on Umbrel request

Hi all, would be great to one day have Bisq on Umbrel. I love using Bisq but hate having to have my PC open at all times to hit bids and be lifted on offers, so would be amazing to have it sitting there whirring away on my Umbrel 24/7.

daily bumps are good bumps

Daily bumps are not good bumps, they’re just spam, you know it.
Also, have you tried contacting Bisq?

I shall leave it a week or so before bumping then. As P2P L1 bitcoin trading is exactly what Umbrel needs.

Biq on umbrel would be cool

Wouldn’t it just! Sick and tired of leaving my home PC on over night to get filled on my orders.

If someone can provide a source where I can find a suitable Docker image, I’d be happy to try integrating Bisq into Umbrel. :muscle:

This Dockerfile contains several Start9-specific configurations, such as using /root/data/start9/config.yaml and yq to load settings. It also relies on Start9-specific paths and startup mechanisms.

As it stands, it’s not usable for Umbrel because Umbrel has a different structure for configuration management (e.g., /data for persistent storage) and uses app_proxy for network integration. To make it work on Umbrel, these aspects would need to be adjusted.

Short: If we want to use it on Umbrel, some modifications will be required.

Sadly I can’t help from a development point as I’m about as useful as chocolate teapot.

I can however help test as I use Bisq frequently and know my way around the application and trade flow process.
