I am performing a clean install of umbrelOS 2.0 and trying to restore my ~100 GB backup from my local SMB server during the onboarding wizard (Restore from a backup > Another Umbrel or NAS).
- I enter the server IP, the share name, and valid SMB credentials.
- The credentials and connection are accepted.
- However, the file/folder browser never populates. It gets stuck indefinitely on a loading spinner (waited over 15 minutes).
- No folders or files are rendered inside the UI, making it impossible to highlight the backup directory and proceed to the encryption password screen.
Because the onboarding picker was stuck, I completed the initial wizard by creating a user and attempted the restore via Settings > Backups > Restore:

The backup was detected, the encryption password was accepted, and the restore process started and ran to completion.

Once the process finished, however, nothing was restored:

No applications appear on the dashboard.

The Files and Downloads sections are also completely empty, even though the backup contains around 100 GB of personal files, photos, and media.
