I finally got my Umbrel node running. 
Now I face the choice of making it a reachable full node or an unreachable node. I wanted to start a node primarily to support the decentralization of Bitcoin network and not so much to do my own transactions. I believe to make Bitcoin succeed we need as many reachable nodes as possible (now there are only 10500 in the world) to make the network secure. Public nodes secure the network, not the miners.
My question is what are the pro’s and cons of making the node reachable (and disabling TOR). I read about hacks on nodes. Is this a real danger? What can they do?
Can I support Lightning network without TOR enabled?
