Problems after OS Update and Trying to Install Knots

I updated apps, then OS to 1.5, then tried to install Knots.

I kept running into issues, it hanging on 99%, saying Not Running, but not letting me reinstall again.

There is no icon for Knots, Bitcoin Node won’t load, and the storage is now at 7X gb instead of the 9XX gb before.

I guess the blockchain of Bitcoin Node was deleted.

Should I try again with Umbrel? If so, how do I go about doing so?

  1. Do I need to format the External drive, or will it do whats needed?

  2. Where can I find the new UmbrelOS 1.5 image? It is no longer on umbrel.com

My understanding is that you can not run Core and Knots at the same time. They use the same ports. Migrate from Core to Knots.

Its running and reindexing the blockchain.

Are you migrating from core to knots? If yes. if knots is not installed yet but you can see the folder in Apps. Enter in the folder bitcoin-knots and delete the folder data and try to install again. Sometimes it get stuck. But I repeat do that if knots is not installed yet. :wink:
