PayRam on Umbrel, a private multicoin crypto payment solution

Hi everyone,

I’m exploring the idea of integrating PayRam (official link) into Umbrel OS, and I’d love to know if there’s interest from the community. PayRam is a self-hosted, multi-coin crypto payment solution that provides enhanced privacy and security for handling transactions. If you’re looking for a private, self-hosted payment system without KYC or sanctions, PayRam could be the perfect fit for your needs.

Currently I have setup BTC, USDT on ETH, Base and Tron then USDC on ETH and Base. I don’t have a dedicated node for base so only run it when I have my monthly quicknode credits refresh.
I am running a demo version of Payram here. It really integrates with most tokens.

Here are some key features that make PayRam stand out:

  • Docker-Ready Installation: PayRam is easy to set up with Docker—one script is all it takes to get your environment up and running.
  • Secure Wallet Management: Set up XPUB keys to eliminate the need for storing private keys on your server. While this requires manual sweeps for BTC and ETH, it ensures top-notch security.
  • Advanced Sweeping with Smart Contracts: Automate the sweeping and consolidation of ERC20 tokens without storing private keys—ideal for those supporting only EVM and Solana-based tokens.
  • Encrypted Hot Key Option: For convenience, you can store encrypted keys on your server for automatic sweeps to your cold wallet.
  • Coming Soon – Advance invoicing Feature: While it currently lacks robust invoicing features, they are in development and will be available soon.

All in all it is one of the best designed self hosted multi coin crypto payment solution I could find.
