Hi. I’m not sure if this has been discussed but I can’t seem to find the answer in all the previous threads. So my question is really simple. How do you recover your umbrel and bitcoins using the seed phrase? After a power outage, my ssd got fried, literally fried (cheap SSD and/or dongle, lesson learned, i know). Thankfully my Pi survived. When I plugged in a new SSD, umbrel is making me create a new account (Umbrel 0.5.4). When do I get to use my seed phrase? I tried making a new account and started to download bitcoin core, the blocks started to download but I was never asked my seed phrase. Sorry for this noob question.

No problem- after bitcoin has finished syncing, you’ll be able to download the lightning app and you can restore with your seed phrase from there.

Hey I’ve had the same issue (fried ssd) and I’m trying to recover from the 24 word seed phrase, but it’s been over 12 hrs. I fully synced a btc node before I attempted the recovery of the lightning node.
I dunno how long you’ve got to wait to recover your sats after entering your seed phrase. Mine took only an hour or so. I’ve read somewhere that it can take a full day. Try to contact umbrel directly. Good luck mate.
Thank you. I’ve recovered most of it. Had to restart a few times before the balance updated. Still force closing, I guess.
