Node resyncing after connection to network changed

When I travel my node ends up disconnecting after some time. As a result I decided I would take it with me. In order to do this, I purchased a travel router that would provide a client mode connection(convert WiFi to a ethernet connection).

I just trialed it in the same network, and it worked but when I opened bitcoin app, it was resyncing again from 0%.

Why is it resyncing? It’s there a way to prevent this in the future?

Do you have all the drives plugged in? I.e. the drive that has the 660GB+ of blockchain data.

Yes. USB port… Never unplugged it.

I guess the next step would be to ssh in and see if/where it’s mounted.

You could also try to reflash the sdcard if those steps seem to daunting.
