I’ve installed a fresh instance of Umbrel, fully synced the Bitcoin blockchain, and completed the full index for Electrs. However, I’m unable to connect to Electrs from Sparrow Wallet. (LAN, SSL off)
Has anyone encountered this issue or know what might be causing the connection problem?
This only happened to me when I pruned my Bitcoin Knots Node and found out that Electrum can only work with a Full Copy of the blockchain history and not a pruned node. But that doesn’t seem to be your issue. Best of luck.
If you see the transaction confirmed on mempool.space or another explorer, then it’s sent. I think the only question is if you sent it to the right address. Are you sure about that?
If you copied/pasted and confirmed the characters, then you should be good.
Since you reinstalled, be sure you are using the same password/PIN as before.
If your Sparrow wallet is using the same password/PIN and doesn’t show receiving the transaction, then its receive button should still generate the same address as before. Is it the same as where you sent the transaction?
What are the odds of malware on the device you used to paste the receive address?
Mystery solved. There were 2 wallets created on Blue. Txn sent to the first wallet created, and not the second wallet.
Using the wrong seed, didn’t work in Sparrow either obviously.
On a hunch, I entered the other seed, and txn very much there.
Thanks for replying to my query. Very much appreciated.
Does Blue wallet store the txn on the first wallet by default?
