I found this in Guides " How to set a static IP for your Umbrel server". But language and expertise don’t help me.
I’m on a Mac (latest OS, M type). I also have my router admin access. Is there a way for me to set my Umbrel attachment to my router to a static IP? It has stayed attached (ethernet) to same IP even after reboot of Router… but I’m used to losing my printer address, so anticipate a similar problem. AND: I would LOVE to be able to use “umbrel.local” but I have to use actual IP address to access.
ANY help translating original message to Mac (or ‘non-developer’) or bullet-pointing the steps I need to take, I’d be so grateful. THANK YOU
