Lightning Balance Discrepancy

Hi,

My Umbrel wallet shows a Lightning balance that is slightly higher (~2k sats) than what is showing on Thunderhub or RTL. Why would these amounts be different? Any tips on how to reconcile?

Here we go! after a bit of investigation:

To summarize my learnings:

  • Umbrel dashboard is displaying balance without Commitment Fees ( reserved for force closing transaction).
  • ThunderHub & RTL subtract the Commitment Fees from the balance.
  • The commitment fees continually evolve along with the on-chain fees (thus impacting ThunderHub / TRL Lightning Balance)
