Inactive channels

I have had 8 channels inactive for about 2 months now and don’t understand why. I have tried to restart the node multiple times but no change. I have 15 other channels that are active and working.

Any ideas of how to fix this or what may be the reason for these inactive channels?

Means the other node is down. Who knows why they are down? Could be back up after an update, could be they have no idea they are down, or could be fried node never coming back. The decision is yours, force close or wait for them to come back.
