I have tried installing tailscaled on the OS and deploying the docker image from the app store. I’ve had the most luck with connecting via ssh umbrel@ and simply getting Tailscale stood up from the CLI. I do HOWEVER have been unable to utilize the tailscale funnel feature namely: tailscale funnel --bg https+insecure://localhost: due to the way Umbrel handles networking. I have deployed this successfully on CasaOS and am able to funnel a specific app using this command. For example: I want to use Trilium Notes Next (custom install not from Zadam). This app defaults to port 8080 non https. The result on CasaOS has been reliable access to my machines hostname: “https://host.tail.ddxxx.net” I would love to find a way to make this work on Umbrel. has anyone had any luck with this?
