How to set up Raspberry Pi with wi-fi connection

Hi everyone,

I am following the guide on your site “get up and running in 5 minutes” with the goal to set up a lightning channel. I followed your steps but got stuck with the ether cabel - I currently don’t have access to my router so I would want to set up the connection using wi-fi.

Could somebody please give instruction how could I achieve it? I have already the Umbrel OS on the SD card and everything ready except that I obviously can’t access the https://umbrel.local site. I tried to follow up instructions I found here: https://desertbot.io/blog/headless-raspberry-pi-4-ssh-wifi-setup but this didn’t help and I couldn’t connect to the umbrel.local.

Thanks

Hi Petr,

Follow the instructions in the following post to configure for wi-fi access:

Create the wpa_supplicant.conf file with the relevant info: country, SSID, password

Put that file in the root folder of your RPi SD card after flashing.

Kind regards,
CM

There are two partitions BOOT-A and CONFIG which one should I flash to?
