Well, if you spend BTC opening lightning channels from a on-chain wallet, then just close the lightning channels to get them back to the on-chain wallet, obviouslly. Sorry if I didnt get what you mean…
Ok, that makes sense.
Closing channels comes with a cost, as does swap via bolts.
Guess I need to compare what’s cheapest.
Another alternative is to send lightning to a wallet in Muun. Then you can transparently spend those BTC on-chain or on lightning from the Muun wallet. Ofc you will then put trust on their service, but it’s still non-custodial.
Not sure how they do their magic
