Extremely slow file transfer rate

Recently received my Umbrel and started to set it up.

I needed to transfer a 425mb file to the Umbrel and was met with very low transfer rate. est time 1hr+

Stopped the transfer, switched to a wireless connection and rebooted. Tried again with the same result.

I also tried disabling Cloudfire DNS in settings, installing SAMBA, which did not work as well.

I could not establish a Samba connection in Windows Explorer at all.

My goal with this unit was to run HA and BTC node. Don’t think I’ll even try the BTC node at this point due to the block chain size.

Anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing this?

If you are downloading from the net then it’s probably the source.

No, local. My PC to the Umbrel or my NAS to the Umbrel.

I checked DNS and the drives on the unit and everything is fine.

The CPU overhead wasn’t an issue either.

Just don’t know.

are you connecting directly not over tor or anything else.

you could use filezilla. Odd.. anything in logs?
