Sorry, I wasn’t too clear. I meant their vpn, so your umbrel can route its traffic through it.
Oh sorry.
You can use Mullvad VPN with the WireGuard app. Simply generate a WireGuard configuration file on the Mullvad website, import it into the WireGuard app, and activate the connection.
I’m not entirely sure since I don’t use Mullvad, but the downloaded configuration file from Mullvad will usually have a .conf
extension. You can rename it to wg0.conf
if you want to use it as a backup for WireGuard. Then, go to the WireGuard app, click on Backup, and select the file.
Let me know if it worked.
Ok. Glad to hear!

Good afternoon,
I’m having trouble accessing JDownloader 2. I downloaded it successfully, but when I try to open the app, I get the message: “Safari can’t open the page because it cannot connect to the server.” Additionally, when I open the JDownloader terminal, several errors appear, such as:
bash
Copiar
denny-jdownloader-2_web_1 | exec /init: operation not permitted
denny-jdownloader-2_app_proxy_1 | Error waiting for port: "The address 'denny-jdownloader-2_web_1' cannot be found"
denny-jdownloader-2_app_proxy_1 | Retrying...
Could you please help me? This is happening on the Umbrel server.
Hey!
JDownloader 2 cannot be launched directly on a smartphone (Safari). Please try opening the JDownloader web interface in a browser on your PC instead.
App suggestion: Hey i think it would be cool to host a nostr blog via NostrSites (GitHub - nostrband/nostrsite) its what npub.pro uses. what do you think?
Wow, super helpful of you to share Denny!
Glad you find it helpful! If you’re missing any apps or have ideas, feel free to share.
Do you know how I can get this librewolf app im trying to package up and running. I would appreciate your expertise - GitHub - copy2018/umbrel-fork (my umbrel app store fork)
Hey @sat0shi!
You should edit the following line in docker-compose.yml
: sovreign-librewolf_librewolf_1
to sovreign-librewolf_web_1
The rest looks good! I just tested it and it works great.
Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Added Chevereto.
Do you manually make the images for each service every time?
Hey @sat0shi!
No, I don’t manually create the images every time. I use existing images from Docker Hub, GitHub, etc., and simply adapt them for Umbrel using the docker-compose.yml
. The graphics for the umbrel-app.yml
file, however, I create myself using GIMP. I’m not a coder or anything - I just do this for fun.
Added kodbox.
