Hello! So I am currently still experiencing that same error still, getting connection refused with the logs throwing that error as well from my last post. I am using a Raspberry Pi so that could be leaning into why its not working. I wonder if there is something different on my end that I need to be doing?
I’ve now marked more clearly that Spacedrive doesn’t yet work on a Raspberry Pi. I’m considering temporarily removing it from the App Store until a multi-architecture release is available, to avoid further issues for Raspberry Pi users.
I love to have SimpleX and Sparrow Wallet on here. Also, I’d love to know how you do it as I want to learn how to add apps? Is there a way to add all of these to the official umbrel app store?
SimpleX and Sparrow Wallet would definitely be possible on Umbrel as long as the respective Docker containers are available. I’d be happy to help you with configuring these apps and getting them running on your Umbrel server.
If you want to learn how to add apps, the Umbrel App Framework is a great place to start. It explains how to develop and host your own apps.
Regarding getting them into the official Umbrel App Store, the apps need to be in Docker container format and go through an approval process. You can submit your apps and suggestions via a Pull Request in the GitHub repository.
Yea, I’m not a coder by any means so would be hard but I think the docker containers are available on their official GitHub pages or even on Start9’s GitHub.
