Default password not working - fresh flash, Pi4

I decided to reflash Umbrel and start again (worked fine the first time, I just messed it up). After flashing and waiting, I opened the page and it asked me for my password, so I enter the default pw “moneyprintergobrrr” but it is wrong. I deleted all cookies and site data on my browser also.

I did the whole process twice - second time I tried a new browser (Firefox).

When I type in “http://umbrel/”, I get redirected to “http://umbrel/login?redirect=%2F”
Is this correct?

Why can’t I log into my new Umbrel OS this second time? Everything worked perfectly the first time.

Any ideas?

Umbrel OS on RaspberryPi4. Accessing through Windows 10 pro, latest updates, Edge and Firefox browsers.

did you format and start over including external drives?
if not try your old password

I did everything, twice. I even manually deleted the partitions to make sure the old one was gone.

I solved it, and I think it was the external HD, I never deleted it. I think the ext HD was restoring the newly installed OS. Don’t know for absolute sure, but when I did the whole thing over again, this time I formatted the ext HD, and it worked.
