Is there a way we can modify the default fee for new channels? The current 1base and 1ppm sometimes gets me in trouble because some channels get drained on the spot right after opening since those defaults are so low.

Agreed. I have been running my node for a minute and tried a few things but I have not been able to change the default settings for a new channel. I know how to change them once open but I would like to have default parameters for newly open channels outbound fee = x and time lock delta = x.
I know Darth has a reference for the answer but when I read it and made changes it mucked things up. I’m positive it’s the operator and Darth has great content. Simplify it please and thank you.
