I can’t connect to my BTC node (RPC port 8332), from my local network. The node is started as such: bitcoind -port=8333 -rpcport=8332 -rpcbind=10.21.21.8 -rpcbind=127.0.0.1 -rpcallowip=10.21.0.0/16 -rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 -rpcauth=umbrel:3f804c321a4ee4e572ef7bd771bdd5f0$17ef930e8c19f858adcbf7bd38e7c8855cadf2a1b10b558d1d4f12164d5828eb -zmqpubrawblock=tcp://0.0.0.0:28332 -zmqpubrawtx=tcp://0.0.0.0:28333 -zmqpubhashblock=tcp://0.0.0.0:28334 -zmqpubsequence=tcp://0.0.0.0:28335
As shown in the command, we can see that RPC connections is only allowed from Umbrel itself. How can I add another IP (-rpcallowip) so I can connect from my local network?
I hope this helps a little. Ive been struggling trying to get my connection too.
Although im dead tired after troubleshooting all day. I decided to knock out a tutorial as best i could before i lost motivation to do it later or passed out. My code will be updated when i wake up so you can see current full block info. Currently i have it setup to see just three data points…the block, hash and something else i think.
