Can't find Ledger xPub Using Specter on Umbrel

I just finished downloading the blockchain on my umbrel and am now trying to connect my ledger. I’ve downloaded specter in the umbrel app store.

When I connect my ledger directly to the raspberry pi via USB, I am unable to find the xpubs or connect to the ledger at all.

Any suggestions? I am new to this and not a coder, but I would like to run my own node with my existing ledger.

Managed to figure it out.

I realized you can’t connect ledger via the raspberry pi because umbrel blocks connection to the USB ports. You instead need to download specter directly onto your pc/mac and connect your ledger that way.

You then point the desktop version of specter to your umbrel to sync the node.
