Bitcoin Knots UASF

Hi all, is the Bitcoin Knots USAF going to be added to Umbrel as I would like to signal my support.

Bitcoin Knots is supported by Umbrel. Is in the app store.

Yeah I know this… my question is about the UASF.

I just googled Bitcoin Knots UASF and you should be able to set this yourself by creating your own Community Store and building the containers. Is this not something you would want to try on your own? It really is not that hard. Yesterday, I was able to add the Official Containers of Postgres and pgAdmin to my Umbrel just by creating the docker-container.yml and umbrel-app.yml files.

I would like to hear your thoughts on that before I make any other suggestions.

I’m sorry … I just read through what was Googled on Bitcoin Knots and UASF …

Bitcoin Knots is available from the Umbrel App Store … and it is says it is a simple bitcoin.conf change to support UASF …

If you already have Bitcoin Core running … search this community … I have documented how you can switch back and forth between Knots and Core without having to redownload the Blockchain again.

Nice.

I don’t think its as easy as that. Plus its BIP-110 not 148…

Any update?

In the latest update I saw that it supports it by changing the version to BIP110 (Settings > tab named Bitcoin Knots Version)
