Monero wallet to accompany the Monero node. Having a Monero wallet on a computer is a heavy application since it requires downloading the entire blockchain and running a node. You can run it in light mode, but can’t connect to a custom node. Sigh. Need a Monero wallet on Umbrel.

Not an app request but more of a feature request related to Bitcoin Core node app. When installing bitcoin core node, allow user to choose which version to install.

Fedimint Lightning Gateway.

Its awesome that Fedimint has been recently added. However, it does require (as far as I understand) a Fedimint Lightning Gateway and its a shame you have to connect to an external one, especially if you are already using UmbrelOS LND, AlbyHub etc and have opened channels (unless I am completely missing something here?).

Any Cake Wallet users of btc’s bip 352 “silent payment feature” out there? There is a BIP352 Silent Payments Index Server Specification (WIP) which can add an indexing service app to umbrel infrastructure, wallet registers scan private key and silent payment address + birthdate with service for most efficient initialization and UTXO management. Essentially, this would make Cake Wallet and all other future wallets that use BIP 352 silent payment feature able to become more efficient by allowing the backend Umbrel bitcoin node to do the indexing instead of the wallet on our phones or laptops doing the indexing. Umbrel could support btc “Silent payments”, an important privacy preserving feature, by developing this silent payment privacy preserving indexing feature/app that could run on our own nodes, instead of in our phones or laptops. I know that I don’t know how to do this myself.
