I would like to see Ackee in the Appstore. It is a small well maintained website analytics tool that I would love to use instead of terrible old google analytics.
Please add LN Capital
+1
That would be awesome! There are also many other distributed computing projects: http://www.openscientist.org/p/distributed-computing-project-open-for.html
Maybe there is a way have just one app for this and let the user decide where he want’s to contribute?
I’m looking for, and not finding, a way to drop into shell to update Pi-hole and possibly others. That or some means to update the Apps.
Pi-hole is a year old and there are updates, but seems to require shell access to run the command. If I’ve missed some way to do so, please inform me!
Thanks!

I second the first and two points.
IPFS + Ethereum Erigon (or even better, akula or silkworm) + nimbus
This of course increases the storage requirements as eth needs (as of july 22) around 600 GB to store every single block and transaction from genesis.
1.8 TB For one that also does not delete intermediary state.
But this is for me a cost that I am willing to pay as I already run such a node anyways!
I would love to migrate to umbrel!

Yeah, I am liking the sound of HestiaCP even only to use this env/node as a staging server pre deployment like for closed testing of Webapps would make this a huge addition from my perspective.
Kind of sandboxed but not, if that makes sense.
I can hear you all screaming at me:
“This is a BTC NODE your running NOT a Devel box”
Yeah ok, but the two can coexist and it would be super cool to have some kind of firewall mechanism /frontend
maybe take a look at netdata as example netdata. It would be So massive if we can have a GUI like this to actually manage and monitor the node IDK… just suggestions.
My own P2P-poolserver!
Running already a full bitcoin node, it would be wonderfull having my own local P2P poolserver for my family & friends.
Another one that I would be interested to see or hear if anyone has tried out is YaCy. I have not used it, but have always liked the idea. Seems like it could be a good addition to a home server
Can we at least have instructions built-in to umbrel “connect wallet” area on how to get Bisq existing app to use our own umbrel node just as other wallets use our own node for btc network info? Perhaps that is what some people mean by the integration of Bisq.
I hope this is the correct place to add some feedback. If there is a better location, please let me know so I can repost there.
I recently upgraded my node to 0.5.0. I really like the UI and wallpaper. Makes my node seem more legit. However, I do have some criticisms.
I like the direction Umbrel is going with the whole sovereign server. It’s definitely cool. However, I am using my node for Bitcoin. Thus, I’d like to see on the homepage a few things:
- Wallets: Amount of BTC or Sats in each wallet - Bitcoin and Lightning
- Block Feed: At a glance I want to see my node recording each block with transactions. Every 10 minutes.
- Peer Connections: How many peers am I connected to?
- (optional) BTC dollar price: I know this would come from one of the plethora of exchanges.
I consider this the core competency of Umbrel. Everything else I can drill down into.
Thanks again for all you do!!
I am also interested by a Monero node
Hi, I’d love to see a mumble server available on the app store !
mumble.info
I would love to have Unifi controller as an app. I had this RPi run a HomeAssistant instance with the Unifi plugin. I have restarted a Home Assistant install on another RPi4 and would like to just run HA on that RPi.
I would second some kind of widget support, which the above could be implemented as.
I would like to see the following apps added (all of which already have a docker image available):
PenPot (a self hosted Figma replacement) https://penpot.app/
Caddy (a https enabled web server - could use a front end to all the existing apps in umbrel) https://registry.hub.docker.com/_/caddy
