Hi, yesterday I blindly let the latest OS upgrade run (think it might have been 1.3) and now I cannot access Unbrel via the web page … I CAN access it via SSH.
In case it helps. I had a similar problem a few days ago, trying to update to v1.3. I reported it on the forum’s discord channel but got no response. In the end, I ended up solving it myself.
Copy/paste from what I posted on discord.
What I can deduce from my experience is that there is something in the v1.3 installer that conflicts when upgrading from the previous version, causing the entire upgrade process to not be completed. Doing a clean install does not seem to cause conflicts.
Another important fact is that what prevented the Rpi4 from having access to the internet, even though I did a clean install of v1.3 more than 20 times, was my ISP’s router. Incredibly, the router had created a rule blocking the Rpi4’s mac and preventing it from connecting to the internet.
And I say “Incredibly” because I have never configured any rule on my ISP’s router. It is a router that I cannot change due to the configuration that my ISP uses and I only use it as a gateway without using any other service.
Anyway, and after consulting the router logs, said rule was created on the same day and time that the Rpi4 update to v1.3 failed.
I cannot say more about it. Only that I never created that rule and everything coincides in date and time. Somehow, the router blocked access.
I have a similar issue. After upgrading to v1.3 after roughly 10 Minutes after startup, I can’t login via SSH anymore and on the WebUI, almost none of the apps are responding anymore. With version v1.2 everything worked perfectly fine on my Raspberry Pi 5.
I don’t know what to do. I would like to downgrade to v1.2. Does anybody know how to accomplish that?
