My Bitcoin node seems to crash at least daily if not multiple times daily. When this happens I can’t connect to Umbrel.local and need to unplug and reset it. I’m not certain if this is true, but it may be when connected to my Sparrow wallet… I have received the message once about my SD card may be failing, but not again. It resets fine and resumes function, but crashes again. I bought the official Rasperry Pi 4 power supply in case the after market power supply was the issue, but this didn’t stop the situation.

Is this a new issue, or has it been persistent since you set it up?
I’ve tried several time and it gives me an error saying that new users only get to put 2 links in a post… It’s just my logs. I’ll try sending it in chunks.

Interesting, there doesn’t appear to be anything on the software side that stands out for such an issue.
Another question, I assume you have a heat sink or fan operating on the Raspberry Pi? (You can check if the Pi is running at a high temp via the settings dashboard)
Also, what SSD/drive are you using with the Pi?
Given you mention it crashes daily, im inclined to think this is not a networking issue where the IP is being reassigned, which may not be recognised by your browser straightaway, but it may also be worth downloading Tailscale from the app-store to hedge this. Tailscale creates a tunnel between your authorised devices, and will let you connect to your Umbrel outside of home, or when your router reassigns IP addresses.

It’s gone down twice since your email. No idea why? Investigating Tailscale, but not sure how it will help as it’s plugged directly into the router. I’ll try a different SD card rated for endurance I guess.
