Umbrel blockchain stops sync

Hello,

I am trying to sync the bitcoin blockchain for the second time now. The first time, the synchronization stopped at about 50 percent and had not changed even after several days. You can’t see a progress bar or a current status anymore. I then restarted Umbrel and was already close to the end at about 86 percent and now have the same problem. Slowly I am annoyed.

I have already tried the following:

  • Reboot
  • Updated to version 0.5.0
  • Power off everything
  • Changed SSD cable
  • Reboot my Router

What is the cause and how can I fix it? A third time I will not start from scratch.

I use a raspberry pi with the offical image and a 1TB SSD. I’m connectet with Ethernet.

Same like me, stops syncing about 86%. Did the same, replaced hardware and cables, made network open for internet that nothing stops syncing, reinstalled Umbrel three times and every time it stops syncing after a while. What cases this issue?

Bye Bye Umbrell, hello Raspiblitz. Too bad that no one has an idea. The GUI does not come close to Umbrel, but then I’ll probably switch to Raspiblitz. My sync is already running. The topic has thus settled for me.
