Hi all, is it possible to run Tailscale on the main Umbrel server itself instead of inside a docker? I’d like to use Umbrel 1.5’s new backup feature to backup to a remote network drive that’s shared on my Tailscale network.
Yes you can but keep in mind that you will be working in the server itself that means you will be updating the linux image and that breaks umbrel… The only reason I did it is to try to install certificates so it would work in a https connection. It doesn’t worth it (if you use your umbrel as bitcoin node) You risk to lose your copy of the blockchain.
