Question about automatic encrypted backups

Hi, I’ve just getting started with Umbrel and see there is a script to store channel backup automatically.
That’s pretty awesome to reduce the chances of lost funds if something were to fail. Just wondering what the process is to recover from this backup.
Probably still want to keep a copy of channel.backup elsewhere but can’t hurt to have more redundancies.

I’m asking about how to retrieve the encrypted backup that umbral does automatically and uploads to aws.

Ah, I see, thanks for the clarification. So probably should still save a copy of channel.backup myself incase everything including the logs are lost.

Yeah, definitely always best to have a manual backup too.

And the recovery process from automated backups is not automated yet, it currently involves manual intervention from us.
