Issue with Blank App Store on Umbrel OS 0.5.4

I am experiencing an issue with my Umbrel node where the App Store remains blank. I have attempted several troubleshooting steps without success, and I am seeking further assistance.

Umbrel Version: 0.5.4

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  1. Tried accessing the App Store using both Chrome and Firefox browsers.
  2. Confirmed no network connectivity issues.
  3. Reviewed Umbrel logs and system status.
  4. Run the following script found in support and troubleshooting: sudo rm -f ~/umbrel/repos/https—github-com-getumbrel-umbrel-apps-git/.git/index.lock && sudo rm -f ~/umbrel/repos/https—github-com-getumbrel-umbrel-apps-git/.git/ORIG_HEAD.lock && sudo ~/umbrel/scripts/repo update

Notable Observations:

  • The system has sufficient memory and no apparent filesystem issues.
  • Docker containers for essential services are active and running.
  • Repeated log entries in Karen logs indicating a potential issue with event handling or script execution: /home/aldo/umbrel/events/triggers/.
  • No direct errors or issues related to the App Store functionality in the logs.
  • Tor proxy functioning correctly.

I am copying the detailed debug logs for your review. I would appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide to resolve this issue.

Hi @aschenone sorry if this sounds obvious, but I can’t see for sure that you’ve attempted a reboot?

Yesterday I had a problem turning on Tor and losing all my app widgets, this sounds similar. I don’t recall where I found the thread “Missing apps” but there was a json script supplied by support that resolved my issue. Perhaps do a search for that question?

Also, have you tried a reflash of the micro SD?

Thanks, @hitheringwaters I dismissed the Ubuntu OS Laptop and installed Umbrel in a new Raspberry 4. It is running smoothly now.
