I keep having issues with overheating and it keeps malfunctioning. I’ve tried everything but the problem persists. It is located in a cool environment of the house, so I think that the inside fan of the Umbrel it’s not working (I don’t hear it). Do you know how I can solve this problem? the medium temperature is between 80-90 C always and it doesn’t come down.

Hey, you should first specify what hardware and what version of umbrelOS you are using, otherwise no one can advise you.
For example, umbrelOS 1.1.x had problems with incorrect temperature readings on the CPU.
Also temperatures between 80-90 degrees Celsius are perfectly normal on some hardware.

Thank you for your help. I’m running the latest version of UmbrelOS, and it is normal that I receive messages from the device saying that it is overheating. When I receive those messages and I check the temperature is 97/98 degrees Celsius before stops working.

Maybe your CPU fan is not working?
I’m running it on my Umbrel Home recently bought. I think that its internal fan it’s not working.
I think ut would be best to contact umbrel’s official support.
Or you could try repair the fan yourself.
